Hello!

I'm Nissa Nicole. I am an artist, photographer and musician, and I live a multi-faceted life filled with color, creativity and optimism. I believe in seeing the beauty of every day life - and that's the motivation for my art.

I grew up in a tiny little town in Wisconsin, where I learned to find stories where only trees and thunderstorms grow. When I got old enough, I packed up and moved west - armed with that whole small town thing - to chase down my dreams in the land of opportunity. 

Here in California, I attended the Academy of Art University, worked in the Vatican of Tech (Silicon Valley). made music and found music, and eventually picked up a camera and fell in love. I am lucky to have found the medium that most suits my eye.

 I am extrememly passionate about my work - from the time I wake up in the morning until I fall asleep at night.

I share my life with my husband David (the drummer), and our four rats, Suzanne, Margot, Pepper and Priscilla.

I love to travel anywhere and everywhere whenever I can. One of my favorite things to do is get in the car and drive without planning the trip ahead of time! I love flying, driving, and experiencing everything there is to see.

I LOVE photographing you as you are, right now. I love preserving memories, free-flowing and true.
